UGB means for me - as its founding partner - the place where we give our clients the feeling that they have put their cases in the right hands.
Competition law, state aid, unfair competition and EU law are the practice areas which attract me most as a lawyer. In the area of my specialization in cartels, abuse of dominance, concentration of undertakings and state aid, I have gained extensive experience from both national and international cases, whether from the position of a counsel or of a competition authority.
I also provide legal advice in regulated areas, mostly in matters relating to data protection (GDPR), public procurement, life sciences and pharmaceuticals.
As I like to help others, I represent clients pro bono in the field of medical law, especially in cases where lege artis healthcare was not provided.
Over years of my practice of law, I have worked in several major law firms. I served for a long-term as a lawyer for the European Commission in Brussels in the Directorate-General for Competition. I am a member of a research and scientific group dealing with the effective application of competition law in Slovakia, which is preparing a draft amendment to the Slovak Act on the Protection of Competition.
I speak fluent English and I like spending my free time horseback riding and travelling.
